New course for clarinet players added for 2012

Quintessential Clarinets (Elementary) tutored by Shea Lolin

This new friendly, small course, has been created by Benslow Music by popular request. It is for clarinettists at an early stage of their musical journey, up to approximately Grade 4. You don’t have to have taken any exams, but the popular Shea Lolin will be on hand to work in a group situation on technical and musical matters and to make you feel more confident about your playing. Shea will address stagecraft, coping with nerves, how to practise and how to improve your sight-reading, as well as helping your interpretations of any music you might bring. And if you feel up to playing in an informal concert atmosphere in front of your fellow students, you certainly won’t be discouraged.
