Missenden Abbey is a contemporary learning centre providing an extensive range of residential and day courses, set in a beautiful 12th century abbey in the Chilterns, only 30 minutes away from central London.

Our programme comprises weekend, Saturday and summer school courses in arts and crafts, textiles, cultural studies, photography, music and much more – take a look and be inspired!

Missenden Abbey provides creative and relaxing study breaks for everyone. We offer a peaceful respite from everyday life, with accommodation in comfortable en-suite bedrooms, yet we have easy road and rail links to London and beyond.

Courses at Missenden Abbey include Bridge, calligraphy, cartoons, short story writing and pottery.
